About Ann's Guiding Hand

After many years working as a special needs nanny and also as a personal assistant for various disabled adults, I decided that I wanted to try and do something a bit different. I loved working for individual families, however felt there was a huge gap in the support system, mainly for parents with newly diagnosed children, or young adults who would love to take steps to become more independent, but have relied on parents for so many years it becomes difficult to know where to start. And so, in 2010, Ann's Guiding Hand was born.
