About Anna Art's Playful Creations

For as long as I can remember, I have always been the darling of my art teachers. With a paint brush in my hand, I would lose myself in imagination and creativity. Summers spent in the countryside, being far from the city bustle and in step with nature inspired me. This solitude, which belonged to me alone, gave birth to a world of ideas. My first creations were made from leaves and pieces of wood. These moments of innocent discovery, combined with my father's artistic influence, my loves, my many travels, and the birth of my only daughter, brought out the artist that I am today. Always and again so passionate about creation. Self-taught like my father, whom I observed working as a child, I draw my inspiration from this hereditary curiosity, this desire for free expression, the ever-changing nature, and from the panoramas surrounding me. My work has taken me to foreign cities all over the world. From Hong Kong to Singapore to Macao to Australia and finally to the United States, the cities, people, and cultures stimulate my works and my artistic journey. Asia remains the most memorable and inspiring place I have ever lived. A simple dive into these memories inspires wisdom and meditation. However, the Nevada desert also marks my works with its calm and serenity. 2009 was the pivotal moment when I traded my brushes for rags, a spatula, and my fingers. And it was there, through the depths, textures and direct contact with the artistic media, that my passion for the abstract was born. This new passion is liberating, and I still see endless possibilities in it. 2016 marked a year full of surprises. I went back on the road and my sole grandson was born. It was as if I had fallen into Obelix’s Magic Potion. Now, back to my imaginary world I paint for 8 to 10 hours a day and I create a whimsical world for children. The imaginary is an infinite world…
