About Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation

The Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation was formed by Salt Lake City attorney Peter Stirba in memory of his wife, Utah state trial court Judge Anne M. Stirba. Judge Stirba’s battle with breast cancer, and her attitude and courage in fighting the disease, served as an inspiration to all who knew her. Her 10-year battle with breast cancer ended in 2001.While her personal fight is over, her legacy is not. The Anne Stirba Cancer Foundation carries on her fight and that of millions of others, as we work together to find a cure for breast cancer. Our sole aim is to support the research being done at the Huntsman Cancer Institute as they work aggressively for a cure.
