Anodyne Surgical is a medical device manufacturer specializing in disposable ophthalmic cannulas for cataract surgery. We are a manufacturer and also act as a contract manufacturer, small parts assembler, and contract packager for sterile and non sterile sub assembly and/or finished goods. As the only US privately owned ophthalmic cannula manufacturer continuously owned by our founder for over thirty-five years, and located in our own facility in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, our growth has not inhibited our strengths. To the contrary, it has allowed us to continue to improve what we do. We private label our products for distributors in the US and internationally. We also sell our own house brand directly to hospitals and surgery centers in the US and through international distribution around the world. Our name comes from the ancient Greek word ‘Anodynos’ meaning ‘to be without pain or to remove pain, i.e., soothing’. It is a creed we are committed to live by – to make products that allow for a pain free, soothing experience for the patient and the doctor, and to make relationships a pleasant, soothing experience for our customers as well as for our employees.
