Anstruther Fish Bar is our family business (2003 - present) alongside our small fish processing company - Argofish, St Monans (Est 1980). Generations of our family have been fishermen from this area since the 1700s, so we like to think we know a thing or two about fish. We are completely committed to sustainable fish and seafood, and source everything locally wherever possible. By personally purchasing our fish directly from the boats, we can guarantee only the freshest, prime quality haddock goes in to your fish supper. We work hard to maintain our award-winning standards and are proud to announce we have just been crowned WINNER of THE SCOTTISH FISH ‘N’ CHIP TAKEAWAY OF THE YEAR 2019 and also Central WINNER of The Food Awards Scotland - Best Fish ‘n’ Chips 2019. In addition to achieving the prestigious UK WINNER of the FISH & CHIP SHOP OF THE YEAR Award, numerous ‘Taste Our Best’ Awards and Les Routiers’ Cafe of the Year Award, we are excited to discover we are also finalists in the UK Good Food Awards 2019.
