About ANTA Ingeniería Civil

Anta is a young civil engineering company founded in May 2003 by Mario Guisasola (Civil Engineering graduate from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Master Ouvrages d'Art at the Ecole Nationale de Ponts et Chaussées, Paris). Mario Guisasola began his professional career in 1993 at Tonello Ingénieurs Conseils (nowadays BG-21) in Savoy (France). Between 1994 and 2003, Mario Guisasola worked at the engineering company called Injelan, as project manager and construction management chair of nearly twenty bridges. In 1999, the Technical Engineer Esther Azcona joined the department headed by Mario Guisasola. In 2003, Mario Guisasola founded ANTA INGENIERÍA CIVIL, an engineering study dedicated to the carrying-out of bridge and singular structure projects. Esther Azcona has worked at Anta since its foundation. In 2008 Civil Engineer Haritz Iriondo joined the company. Between 2010 and 2013, Mario Guisasola manages the department of structures at Fulcrum, heading a team situated between Bilbao and San Sebastian. Between 2004 and 2007, Mario Guisasola gave the subjets of Mechanics and Structures at the careers of Technical Engineering of Public Works, and Technical Architecture at UPV. Nowadays, he collaborates with this university as an occasional lecturer. He has also intervened in several international congresses as speaker of issues related to footbridges. During 2013 – 2014, Mario Guisasola manages de bridge department at Grontmij France, starting the opening of Anta's activity towards the international market, accompanied by Esther Azcona and Haritz Iriondo.
