Anthogen’s unique AI-driven app empowers people with cardiac, respiratory and mental health issues and their families to manage their conditions and avoid serious health crises. Healthcare has become "over-medicalized" in the US, due, in part, to the procedure/time-driven way it is paid for. Everything has to go through the doctor; the patient/family are disenfranchised. This has led to excess cost, rationing of care and, in the US, to poor outcomes compared to other advanced economies. The key to both cost management and family empowerment is simple: Prevent the problem. Anthogen, for the first time, can deliver prevention affordably and conveniently. How? 1. Empowering individuals to avoid acute episodes and 2. Effectively reinforcing healthy behaviors and redirecting risky behavior. The empowerment and effective reinforcement come from a simple but proven approach: "on the spot" communication, exactly when it will have an impact. Telling someone to read a book on healthy behavior does little. Telling them to get up and take a walk exactly before they lose their temper is huge. Rewarding a heart patient exactly while exercising with both praise and practical prizes works the same way. We create for every individual their individual "normal" for most daily activities such as sleeping, eating, working, screentime, exercising, etc. This is done by combining in our singular AI environment, in real-time, biometrics and context: where am I? What am I doing? What is my immediate goal? When, in a particular context, we detect substantially increased risk, our communications tools speak directly to the user, pointing out the situation and offering practical "right now" suggestions to reduce the risk. The same is done to reinforce healthy behavior. The family has the same app and can reinforce it in real-time where needed. We call this the Anthogen Real-Time Advocate.
