For nearly four decades and across three generations, Anthony’s Ocean View has been a labor of love—from our family to yours. Anthony Delmonaco, a native of Gioia Sannitica, Italy, arrived in the U.S. on June 5, 1965, and began working on Grand Avenue in New Haven. Within five years, he was managing that store, and within 15, had expanded to 13 locations. His dedication to customers led to opening a restaurant in Guilford in 1978, followed by Anthony’s Ocean View Fine Catering in New Haven in 1986 and Meriden in 1990. In 1995, Anthony sold the other restaurants to focus fully on Anthony’s Ocean View. Set on the scenic waterfront of Morris Cove along Long Island Sound, Anthony’s Ocean View has remained proudly owned and operated by the Delmonaco family ever since. His wife Anna and their four children—Natalie, Marcello, Caterina, and Fabio—help lead day-to-day operations, joined by a loyal staff, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years. Widely recognized as one of Connecticut’s premier wedding and event destinations, Anthony’s Ocean View is also a pillar of the community, quietly supporting local families, nonprofits, and countless causes with food donations, gift certificates, and community partnerships. Above all, we are a place where families, friends, and businesses come together to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. Anthony and Anna are now the proud grandparents of ten.
