About Anthony Wayne Youth Foundation
Since 2006, the AWYF has existed to provide youth recreational activities to area kids in a fun and safe environment. Our mission is to facilitate the operation of youth enrichment programs by providing support, funding, and resources to all member activities where they relate to the programs, education, and facilities with a primary focus on active recreation. Recreation is an important part of the American dream — we work hard and we play hard, too. Parks have been the traditional place where we exercise, relax, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors. The Anthony Wayne Youth Foundation (AWYF) is proud to be the steward of the Blue Creek Recreation Area (BCRA), a beautiful, open green space that improves our quality of life as well as area economic development.
