About Antipodean Motors

Antipodean is a start-up based in Melbourne that was created in early 2020 to restore Vintage Land Rovers. We love the history of these cars, born out of scarcity in the post war years to become one of the most loved and iconic vehicles of all time. There is a load of them at farms and sheds all over Australia and and so many people have a connection with them. We are believers in the circular economy and our vision is to bring these cars back to life by totally rebuilding them as new. It is a full nut and bolt restoration and we only build around 6 vehicles per year. We recognised there was a market gap in Australia for Land Rover restorations of this quality. Our vehicles truly stand out from the crowd, are cool, practical and adventure ready. In addition to looking great, we hold ourselves to the highest engineering standards. Recognising the importance of driveability and safety, we can add a modern twist to the vehicles and creature comforts if desired! Basically we work with our customers to build exactly what they want.
