About ANVUR
Assessment, analysis, and monitoring are essential tools for the promotion and growth of the Italian higher education and research system in the national and international context, benefiting students, scholars, and the community. In this perspective, ANVUR has been working since 2011 as the national agency responsible for ensuring and promoting the quality assurance of educational and research activities of Universities, Higher Education Institutions in the Arts, Music, and Dance sectors (AFAM), and Research Institutions receiving public funding. Over the years, internationalization has become an increasingly important objective for the Agency, which has significantly increased its presence and visibility, particularly (though not exclusively) within the European context. This growth is also attributed to participation in the European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), accreditation with the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), and the establishment of numerous collaboration agreements with agencies from other countries.
