The aParent Miracles Foundation For single parents, the challenges are many, but there is no greater joy than providing for their children’s success. They see their sacrifices as a badge of honor, and all they want is an opportunity to better meet the needs of their families. At the aParent Miracles Foundation, we believe that we can help make dreams come true for single custodial parents, one miracle at a time. The aParent Miracles Foundation is a State of Georgia nonprofit organization whose charitable purpose is to help working single parents of children in kindergarten through college with household expenses. The aParent Miracles Foundation offers temporary assistance to custodial single parents through grants, scholarships, awards and transformational life skills training provided by our corporate and public partners. The aParent Miracles Foundation works to meet specific needs in 3 creative ways: (1) Class Group: Each year aParent Miracles Foundation will select a class of parents to receive a monthly stipend after a national nomination process. Parents who are selected will meet each other and receive virtual financial literacy classes. (2) Micro Grants: aParent Miracles Foundation will award micro grants each month ($200 or less) to a single parent who is not in the Class Group. The micro grants will be used for various household expenses, car repairs, or a school-related expense for their children. (3) Miracle Moments: aParent Miracles Foundation does pop up miracle moments where we surprise a parent with an unexpected gift or cash donation just because! The giving of our Miracle Partners allows aParent Miracles Foundation to maximize its assistance to custodial single parents as we fulfill our overall goal of providing miracles for single parents, ONE FAMILY AT A TIME.
