About APD Consulting Club at UC San Diego
We are an interdisciplinary organization of Advanced Professional Degree holders that was founded by students of UC San Diego in 2011. In the past seven years, we have rapidly grown from a handful of students to over 350 members. Our club members have been placed in several prestigious consulting firms such as – B.C.G, McKinsey & company, L.E.K, ClearView Healthcare Partners and ZS Associates, among others. We have active participation of students and postdoctoral fellows from research institutions across the mesa. We conduct 8-10 week pro bono projects for clients generally based in San Diego. This is a great opportunity for students to get a first hand experience of a consulting engagement. Current team members get a chance to lead their own teams of 6-8 students in subsequent projects.
