About Apeiron Institute for Sustainable Living
The Apeiron Institute for Sustainable Living was established in 1994 to transform Rhode Island into a sustainable state: a Rhode Island where the needs of the present are met without compromising the needs of future generations. We act as a catalyst to create healthy communities by promoting sustainable living practices. We lead by example and serve as an information resource that educates, connects, and inspires. We currently have four major areas of focus; Education Programs, The RI Sustainable Living Festival and Clean Energy Expo, Sustainable RI , and our Center for Sustainable Living.
