This partnership provides lenders with an opportunity to diversify their lending platform and build a commercial loan portfolio without incurring the initial system capital costs or the considerable ongoing overhead expenses. With decades of commercial lending experience, Apex founders have completed billions of dollars in commercial real estate transactions. Our principals' backgrounds cover the entire spectrum of the commercial lending disciplines including Credit, Loan Originations, Underwriting, Documentation, Closing, Servicing, Asset & Risk Management and Legal Due Diligence. Many of our lending partners utilize Apex to originate and close commercial loans on their behalf, with our strategic partners providing underwriting and loan servicing via a tri-party agreement. This allows for a very distinct separation of loan origination and underwriting. Having closed commercial real estate loans for nearly 20-years, Apex General Counsel reviews borrower entity structures and documents, title, survey, zoning and insurance as well as providing loan documentation for the lender’s review and approval.
