Aplicaciones Biologicas a la Nutricion S.L., ABN, is a family business founded in 2000 specialised from its beginnings in the distribution of top quality products from European manufacturers. For years, ABN has been the company leader in the protein market, and particularly in the European yeast market. In 2014 ABN started manufacturing its own products in Navas del Rey and in 2016 it introduced in Spain (Villanueva del Pardillo, Madrid) the first yeast recovery factory from brewer’s yeast. The brewer’s yeast arrives in its liquid form, and it is then subjected to a pasteurization process, concentration and finally drying process, either with rollers or spray-drying. ABN’s own laboratory ensures quality controls for all acquired and manufactured products. ABN’s brewer’s yeast is the main one out of its specialities. These products are designed with high quality proteins such as egg or dairy. ABN has another building in Navas del Rey where the products produced are tailored to the customer’s needs, as well as a warehouse in Lleida, to store the end product, which allows ABN to optimise logistics and distribution of the final product all around Spanish territory. As a quality and commitment guarantee to the customer, ABN is certified under GMP B1 regulation, ISO14001 and UNE-EN ISO 22000.
