About Apollo Holistic Coaching for The Arts

We work to support clients through coaching to improve limiting beliefs, overcome performance anxiety and support with a variety of holistic practices. Founded by two musicians, Apollo seeks to support people within the arts to achieve their goals and provide access to a range of holistic practices. Apollo is a collaboration between Ray Box and Emily Perry. Ray's interest in music and the violin began at an early age, leading to successfully completing a Bachelors Degree, followed by a Masters and Licentiate Diploma in teaching from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music conservatoire. It was during this time that following an accident, Ray developed a keen interest in holistic wellbeing approaches to music performance. Unable to physically play the violin for many months, he learned techniques such as visualisation, and used many holistic practices which allowed him to pass his performance exam with limited practice. Ray has since gone on to undertake a PhD which focuses on this topic. Emily started music lessons at a very young age and progressed to a high level on the flute, as well as learning many other instruments such as violin, piano and saxophone. However unlike Ray, Emily took a different direction into the world of business. Emily is now a successful business owner, specialising in the world of people, business and holistic coaching. Emily has a Masters degree in Human Resource Management, and a number of professional coaching qualifications and is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). In her work Emily has coached many small business owners, helping them to find calm clarity, and has worked with them to set and achieve meaningful goals. Apollo seeks to support those within the Arts to achieve their goals, and overcome the things that may be holding them back.
