About Apollo Minerals
Apollo Minerals is an ASX listed company with three exciting projects in our exploration portfolio. These include the high-grade Salanie Gold Project and the near-surface zinc-lead Kroussou Project, both located in Gabon, and the Belgrade Copper Project in Serbia. A strong pipeline of newsflow is expected as the Company continues its exploration activities at each location. The Salanie Gold Project is a 100% owned emerging high-grade, large-scale discovery with near-surface systems. Our exploration to date validates significant potential for this resource. Salanie contains a 12km untested greenstone belt with historical high-grade production and is similar in style and age to Western Australian gold deposits that host multi-million-ounce deposits. There are multiple occurrences of visible gold at surface over the 12km trend. The project covers 1,380km2 with the historical gold mine producing 20g/tonne gold. The Kroussou Project demonstrates province-scale zinc-lead potential. This has been validated with the identification of multiple zones of shallow, flat-lying, broad sections of rich zinc mineralisation over more than 135km of strike length. The very shallow nature of the zinc-lead mineralization being intersected indicates the low-cost development and mining potential of the project. Our Belgrade Copper Project is focused on a coherent 500m+ long copper anomaly with soils grades up to 900ppm copper, along a well-defined, anomalous, red-bed sandstone/limestone contact. Drilling is targeting sedimentary-hosted copper mineralisation similar in style to the world-class Kupferschiefer deposits in Poland and Germany.
