About Appalachian Christian Camp
Appalachian Christian Camp is a non-denominational Christian Summer Camp for youth entering Kindergarten through 12th grade and a Retreat Center for all ages. The youth camp program begins in June and continues through the summer, ending the first week of August. Appalachian Christian Camp teaches Christian principles and values in a fun and exciting way that challenges today’s youth. While Appalachian Christian Camp is a church camp, you do not have to be a member of a church to attend. Appalachian Christian Camp campus includes a ball field, sand volleyball court, large swimming pool, gymnasium with an indoor rock climbing wall, open-air worship center, air-conditioned dormitories and walking trails all surrounded by the beauty of Unicoi County. While Appalachian Christian Camp is a Christian youth camp, for the months in between - August until May - it is also a Retreat Center with outstanding facilities to offer church groups and businesses. Our campus is located 12 miles south of Johnson City, TN in the beautiful Limestone Cove area of Unicoi County at the base of the Unaka Mountains, just 6 miles from the Appalachian Trail.
