About Appalachian Citizens' Law Center

Founded in 2001, the Appalachian Citizens’ Law Center (ACLC) is a nonprofit based in the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky. We use litigation, policy advocacy, and grassroots coalition-building to pursue a healthy, safe, and just future for Appalachian communities.
