About Apparent Project

Apparent Project is a 501c3 non-profit that offers childcare, quality education & job skills training needed to help the poor in Haiti rise out of poverty and become future leaders of integrity. Chaos & oppression often block these opportunities for the poor. Our primary location is in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where our AP Childcare & School, and AP Institute are housed in two buildings. We currently have over 30 staff employed in Haiti. We have over 100 children in our programs from infant through 6th grade. And we've trained well over 200 elementary students, teens & adults in job skills - specifically typing & basic English & computer skills. Our teachers, guards, maintenance & housekeeping staff, and leadership team work together to provide a family environment. We have a stateside headquarters where donations are processed, and all legal requirements are met. In addition to receiving donations, Apparent Project ships Haitian products throughout the USA. People & organizations donate their time selling these products. AP sales helps fund our programs and also helps Haitian artisans in the area provide for their families. .
