About Apple Trading

Six best friends since childhood We are Adam, Nick, Bryan, Mark, Carlos, and Justice. We are childhood friends who grew up in Nebraska. Back in 2002 Adam started a job out in California working for a manufacturing and automation company that was based in China. Part of the job requirement was having to fly to Asia on a monthly basis. We didn’t know it at that time, but this job would change all of our lives. We know statements like are super cheesy, but it’s actually true. The rest of us tagged along on a few of these trips over to Asia as a little get away. While we explored the various countries eating, drinking, and meeting new friends, Adam was stuck working most of these trips, networking and building new connections to help his employer source more materials for the manufacturing side of the business. One of these trips included a stop in Malaysia. One night after dinner we were having drinks and Bryan brought up what we later found out we were all thinking but never talked about before “lets start a business bringing products over from Asia to the States and sell them online”. Bryan, Mark, and Nick all happened to be entrepreneurs and each had their own successful businesses. While Carlos and Justice happened to be working for a logistics company. Between the connections Adam had built, the business experience Bryan, Mark, and Nick had from starting their own businesses, and the knowledge Carlos and Justice had from working in logistics, it was a no brainer that collectively we had the skillset to start up what we now call Apple Trading Co.
