Approximately Blue is an independent, post-brick-and-mortar art brokerage and collection management service that primarily advises on and transacts in primary market, blue-chip fine art prints. Based in New York City with an active presence in Montreal, Approximately Blue represents the work and art collections of globally recognized master printmakers who have produced limited edition prints with some of the most coveted American artists of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Propelled by a suite of integrated services, the team harnesses its understanding of the art market to develop strategic solutions designed to drive consumer demand and increase sales. Leveraging a diverse network of forward-looking partners, the team produces, distributes, and markets artistically valuable goods aimed at the ever-evolving aesthetic preferences of a new audience of digital natives at the vanguard of emerging attitudes and values. Currently, Approximately Blue manages an inventory exceeding 2,000 artworks, most of which are kept guarded from prying eyes, safely stored in a controlled climate to ensure and preserve their pristine condition.
