APR offers high-quality actuarial solutions to financial institutions in the form of on-site support, consultancy and training services, providing additional capacity and expertise on projects to supplement clients’ in-house capability. Our clients include life and non-life insurance companies, bancassurers and consultancies. Established in 2006, we have brought a unique and innovative approach to the interim actuarial market. This approach makes use of our twin pools of resource: our outstanding team of over 50 employed actuarial staff, coupled with our large body of high-quality self-employed contractors. The combination of these two pools enables us to deliver the right blend of technical expertise and experience to our clients. Calling on our long and successful experience of graduate recruitment, we are fortunate to have taken on and developed some of the best actuarial graduates in the market and each year we add to this pool through an engaging and challenging selection process. Our graduate associates typically qualify as FIAs much more quickly than average, benefit from our market-leading training and technical resources, and enjoy a breadth of actuarial work rarely attainable for actuarial students, through the range of challenging client projects we are able to provide. More recently we have extended this proven approach to recruiting actuarial analysts working towards the CAA qualification, and we are always interested in taking on high-quality actuarial associates at all levels of experience, either as employed staff or to add to our pool of self-employed contractors, to whom we give access to contracts across a large proportion of the UK insurance sector.
