About Apricus Health

Apricus Health is the result of merger of two allied health services: Access Therapy Services and Helping Hands. Helping Hands and Access Therapy both started from gap in the market and soon grew as the demand for allied health services increased in Australia with the introduction of the NDIS. The relationship between founders Cassandra Chiesa and Joanna Murray was non-competitive and grew out of a passion for personal and professional development. Over the years they took courses together and soon realised they shared an entrepreneurial mindset and an aligned vision not often seen in the health sector. They leant on each other for support and both our businesses benefitted over a 10-year period. Over a conversation about recruitment, they realised that if they joined forces they could cover the breadth of Occupational Therapy, Physio, Hand Therapy and Vocational rehab and create a more robust, holistic service for North Queensland. As leaders in their field the next logical step was to come together to create something better. And thus Apricus Health was born.
