About APS Engineering

APS Engineering has been in business for 35 years and work in two main areas within the printing industry. Firstly, we manufacture rotary perforator systems for the security and commercial printing industries. Secondly, we develop digital registration and tensioning systems for the same industries. We at APS Engineering are able to achieve extremely fast run speeds without any compromise in accuracy of registration using windows based touch screen controls for ease of use. It is our belief that the registration system APS have developed is the best of its type available in the world - running both in-line and off-line. Our perforators are very versatile being able to die cut pressure sensitive stamps and produce mechanical water marks, which have the advantage of being positioned in register. Our off-line registration system was originally designed and manufactured as there was no product on the market able to cope with the accuracy, response and stability required. APS have installed perforators in various different configurations of printing presses, including Giave, Chestnut, Goebel (Gravure and Intaglio), Drent-Goebel, Muller Martini and Heidelberg Harris (offset press). Our systems are versatile - they can be used shaft-less and shaft-fed as well as in-line and off-line. We have many years of experience in this field and have never failed to successfully integrate our products with other manufactures.
