About APST Research

APST Research is on a mission to meet the needs of pharmaceutical companies pioneering urgently needed ALS medicines with high-quality patient data and clinical knowledge. APST is a digital research platform and service provider for clinical research in ALS. Collaborating with leading ALS centers in Germany and Europe, the APST platform generates clinical, phenotypic and biomarker data, patient-reported outcomes and real-world experiences of innovative medicines and technologies in ALS. APST´s mobile “ALS App” directly connects people with ALS, providing trusted ways of generating patient-centric data. APST has access to a community of over 2,000 people living with ALS in Europe, who share their disease data. Each patient has his or her own motivation for participation, but they are all empowered by the knowledge that their data will help find a cure. Over time, we obtained datasets of over 9,000 ALS patients. By combining clinical characteristics, ALS phenotypes, biomarker data, and patient-reported outcomes, APST provides a holistic view of the course of disease. With our data, we support biotech, pharmaceutical companies and AI pioneers in conducting high-quality research for effective medicines in ALS.
