About Aptoz

Aptoz was started by four Icelanders in 2017. These Icelanders have over 75 years combined experience of modifying and configuring aircraft of various types. Our goals are to be lean in our design and thinking and bring innovation to aircraft modification. We have incorporated Scrum sprints in our work to become even more lean. We aim to widen employment opportunities in aircraft engineering by continously pushing the boundaries. We provide STC or minor mod services for large transport (CS-23) and Normal category (CS-23) aircraft. We are experienced with FAA and EASA STCs. We can provide turn-key solutions including components and installation kits. Examples of projects we have done include: 1. Datalink (FANS 1+/A, ATN B1). 2. ACARS installations. 3. Satcom (Iridium). 4. Seat-centric IFE systems. 5. Aircraft import and export to and from Europe. Particularily we are experts at importing US registered aircraft to Europe. 6. Avionics installations included stand-by flight displays. 7. New seat configurations and interior monuments. 8. Lavatory changes/removals. 9. Galley replacement and galley equipment updates. 10. VIP interiors on Boeing 757 aircraft. 11. Aircraft structural repairs. 12. Network security including penetration testing. 13.
