About Aqua Partners Australia
Aqua Partners will produce premium quality seafood and seaweed from a biosecure land-based Recirculated Aquaculture System (RAS) with negative environmental impact. RAS land-based aquaculture produces fish that are free of the issues and risks associated with Sea-Cage farming and avoid the need for antibiotics and pesticides. This method of farming can provide organic "egg-to-plate" probity. Unlike any aquafarming competitor, we organically clean our discharge water by growing Asparagopsis seaweed solving the biggest single issue facing the global Agriculture industry, namely Methane production in ruminant animals. Asparagopsis seaweed reduces the amount of methane produced by ruminant animals by 90% when added by 0.2% to cattle feed, with the benefits of this indigenous seaweed have only recently been discovered by the CSIRO.
