Sydney's iconic Darling Harbour hosts the newest sporting phenomenon, the BSc Energy Aqua Rugby Festival over the 11-13 April 2024! A three-day floating rugby festival with a range of competitive invitational rugby teams battle it out for the Aqua Rugby Championship. All matches are played on top of our floating 30 x 30 metre grassed-pitch, where players must dive into the water to score tries off the pontoon & can be tackled off the side! Lining the side of the floating pitch is a fleet of ticketed VIP floating pontoon events - bringing the fun of the Hong Kong Sevens with the hospitality of the Monaco Grand Prix. The Darling Harbour shoreline will be stacked with big screens, food trucks & kids rugby activations ALL free of charge the public to experience rugby atop of the water like never before!
