We are a recipient of an NSF COWY Engine grant (2025) and cash awards (2024) for tech development via NREL of US DOE. Our investors are Chevron Technology Ventures, Ecosphere Ventures and Odessey Energy Advisors. PROBLEM: We are addressing the OGI Interpretation Problem: OGI cameras are insufficient in auto-interpreting the scene in the camera field of view, hence detection frequently relies on human intervention and interpretation. SOLUTION: Our product is an add-on app that automates detection and increases detection speed and accuracy. Its use increases 65% the detectability of fugitive leaks with OGI cameras. It does not need or require Capex spending. TECHNOLOGY: Developed by us while at Colorado State University, it is a patent-pending breakthrough in extracting gas signal from thermal noise (everything in camera field of view I noise but gas), particularly the noise caused by motion. Motion of things in the camera field of view, and motion of the handheld and drone mounted cameras. TESTING: Our app has been tested with inspection video footage from thousands of O&G industry inspections conducted with handheld, drone-mounted and continuous monitoring OGI cameras (cooled and uncooled) manufactured by Teledyne Flir and Sierra Olympia.
