AquaSHIELD designs and manufactures aluminum insulated enclosures for the irrigation, plumbing, fire, domestic water and waste water industry since 1996. We received the ASSE 1060 Standard certification in the year 2001, which details the requirements of an outside enclosure and requires rigorous testing for the various requirements before certification is issued. It includes enclosure types for freezing and non freezing locations. The standard assures customers that our enclosures provide freeze protection to a -30F, positive drainage to prevent submergence of the assembly, structure stability, security, and accessibility for testing and repair. AquaSHIELD enclosures are in compliance with and meet all ARRA "Buy American Act" requirements. AquaSHIELD stocks (36) standard enclosures to meet any standard above ground backflow preventer installation. We have an experienced design department for engineering and design of custom enclosures to meet any specification requirements, which include dual application, manifold applications, meters and pump stations. Our standard units are manufactured in a mill aluminum finish with specifications equivalent to Hot Box ® aluminum enclosures, as well as other manufacturers of aluminum backflow enclosures.
