HISTORY West Coast Critical Care Specialists, Inc. and West Coast Pulmonary Physicians, Inc., established in 2004, brought together a group of physicians with extensive experience in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, Neurocritical Care, and Sleep Disorders. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we were approached by a multi-state healthcare organization based in Washington and a Native American reservation in Arizona to partner with them via telehealth to enhance local healthcare services, and develop protocols for keeping their caregivers and patients safe. They approached us because of our extensive experience and strong reputation for delivering high-quality care at the bedside. Healthcare organizations, regardless of size, recognized that our experience, responsiveness and adaptability could support the challenges that they faced during this pandemic. Virtual Care Providers dba Aquila Healthcare Solutions was created to address the current critical need, as well as to supplement the ongoing challenges healthcare facilities will encounter.
