Arab Women Entrepreneurs (AWE, ) is global movement focusing on growing Arab women to lead innovation, shape policy, and drive lasting impact. More than a network, AWE champions leadership, equality, and opportunity in local communities and across borders. The Challenge: Women Representation in WorkForce - In MENA region, only 22% of Arab women are integrated into the workforce, and there are even fewer who are entrepreneurs (Arab Center Washington DC, 2022). - Less than 5% of businesses are women-led in MENA compared to a global average of up to 26 percent (Atlantic Council) - Around 60% of women entrepreneurs said they relied on savings as their primary or only source of capital. Vision: Arab women leading with purpose, building economies, influencing policy, and driving social change beyond borders. Mission: To enable Arab women to explore business opportunities, overcome barriers, and actively contribute to their economies and communities by providing tailored training, mentorship, and a supportive entrepreneurial network through AWE
