ARAMIS; am·bi·tious /amˈbiSHəs/ (adj) | origins: French HAIJAAN; ہِيجان / a state of turbulent development (n) | origins: Arabic Aramis Haijaan is born of the formidable unification of the east and west. Each piece is a synthesis of the bold colors and extravagant motifs of South Asian heritage balanced by Western silhouettes and distinctive lines. In line with its name, each garment is a bold statement in both reaffirming multicontextual identity and the excitement of discovering a new frontier. Each piece serves as an invitation to a more metropolitan dialogue reflecting multitudes of identities and boundaries within the human consciousness. The sourcing and artisanship required for such a dialogue also reflects our belief in the uniqueness of individual identity as experienced in an increasingly global world. At Aramis Haijaan, we believe in the greater beauty of objects that are transformed through multiple avenues of influence. Although our collections are inspired by a wide variety of global cultural practices, they are conceptualized, designed, and produced in Pakistan. All garments produced are sustainably sourced and produced in limited numbers, with each piece differing just slightly from the others in terms of motifs or patterns so that each garment is completely unique to you.
