Aranac’s was founded in 1981 by David Fitzsimmons, after working on many prestigious projects in Australia and overseas in either a Site Manager, Project Manager or Site Engineer role. Aranac rapidly gained a reputation as a “Can Do” building company, taking on projects that were somewhat outside the traditional “Carpenter Builder” role. This steered growth towards higher end architectural projects often with a strong engineering or heritage component. His has brought in a client base which includes well known Engineering firms, award winning Architectural companies as well as NSW Government departments. Aranac started a Commercial Division early in 1992 with a $2 million Design and Construct multipurpose hall at Killara High School. Since then, we have been accepted onto NSW Public Works Preferred Tenderers list for works up to $1 million in 5 categories including Heritage and General Construction. Small government projects in schools and hospitals plus unit Block remediation & refurbishments make up the majority or our commercial work and are a natural extension of our domestic capabilities.
