Arc is one of the leading arts and mental health charities in the north. We’re based at Hat Works in Stockport and work across Greater Manchester and beyond. Arc creates life-changing opportunities for people experiencing mental ill health to explore their creativity, connect with each other more forward with hope and independence. Arc has a 25-year track record of producing transformational arts projects which engage and include marginalised groups, promote wellbeing and recovery from mental ill-health, and reach thousands of people who need our support. We offer arts for wellbeing programmes to adults and young people, and a programme of workshops, event, exhibitions and training open to all. From our centre in the iconic Hat Works building, we also run a cafe, workshops, exhibitions and handmade shop.
