At the core is the rugged ARC7000 series of computer consoles. These put a fully-functional Windows based computer into the often hostile environment of a workshop, but without losing the input devices and interaction to which users have become accustomed. The design includes: touchscreen; industrial dual-core motherboard; solid-state disk(s); standard IO (USB, EThernet, serial, etc.); loudspeaker :- with the option of a keyboard and pointing device and all integrated into a fully "tilt-and-swivel" ergonomic housing. ARC-Work also manufacture a range of data acquisition and control devices. These include the A0008 and A0009 devices for the measurement of rotation and torque. The A0009 provides an industry-leading combination of accuracy and speed of reading and the A0008 provides turns and speed from any standard rotary encoder. The A0012 is a highly integrated marshaling and control board which can be used as a component of the ARC7000, or as a stand-alone data acquisition, display and control system. It is fully programmable and includes: USB; RS232 and RS485 serial; ADC; DAC; 24V Logic; valve drivers; LCD/VFD display interface :- all on a single Eurocard sized board. ARC-Work also provide service and calibration - for all makes and types of torque machine and pressure test systems, with support for systems from NOV, AMC (Forum), MTE and others.
