ArcBest Technologies is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ArcBest Corporation (ARCB). Established in 1962, the role of ArcBest Technologies has grown along with the growth of ArcBest. The company assists ABF Freight and the other subsidiaries of the ArcBest Corporation in meeting their corporate goals by providing innovative and up-to-date information technology solutions for the business problems they encounter. ArcBest Technologies also provides information services to two customers outside the corporate family: Riverside Furniture and the City of Fort Smith. ArcBest Technologies is looking for talented software developers to join their team, recruiting both new college graduates and experienced developers. The Software Developer, Software Engineer, and Business Analyst functions are all encapsulated in the position of Systems Analyst at Data-Tronics. The job includes all aspects of business IT development, from initial design meetings with users to detailed coding and implementation of solutions. A wide spectrum of opportunities are available in the development of Internet, client/server, personal computer, and enterprise server applications. ArcBest Technologies provides a full range of information technology services to different clients within ArcBest Corporation and its subsidiaries, whose needs vary. Because of these variations, the Systems Analyst is continually exposed to a diversity of challenging assignments. As the businesses of clients evolve, ArcBest Technologies' services also evolve. This enables the Systems Analyst to become involved in the ongoing design of exciting new applications for their customers. Openings are in both entry level Systems Analyst positions as well as more advanced positions within the applications development departments. Salary and responsibility will be commensurate with experience.
