About ARCC Programs
ARCC Programs (formerly Adventures Cross-Country) has been facilitating authentic, culturally immersive travel programs with hands-on service learning projects for over 40-years. ARCC’s mission is to cultivate the next generation of informed, empathetic, and action-oriented global citizens through experiential learning, intentional community partnerships, and responsible travel. We envision a world where cross-cultural engagement through accessible and ethical travel leads to a more just, connected, and sustainable world. We design and operate summer adventure travel programs for teenagers (13-18 years old), experiential education gap year semester programs for recent high school graduates (17-20 years old), and customizable programs for schools, universities, and private groups. Our programs are designed for students who want an educational experience that combines trying new activities, exploring new areas, experiencing the independence of traveling with a small group, conquering new challenges, and meeting students from all over the world.
