About Archiklas

Archiklas komt langs op de midden- en bovenbouw van basisscholen en BSO’s om een reeks architectuurlessen te verzorgen. Een reeks bestaat uit 6 lessen van minimaal 1,5 uur en hanteert een vaststaande volgorde, gebruikelijk voor een ontwerpproces: analyse, schets- en ontwerpfase, experiment- en bouwfase en presentatie. Aan de hand van dit ontwerpproces worden de 21e-eeuwse vaardigheden zoals kritisch en creatief denken, samenwerken en communiceren, informatie verwerken, problemen oplossen en reflecteren aangeleerd. Hiernaast wordt -binnen diverse thema’s- kennisgemaakt met ontwerpbeginselen als schetsen, tekenen op schaal, het maken van een constructie, perspectiefleer en het bouwen van een maquette. Aan het eind van elk thema presenteren de leerlingen hun proces en eindproduct, waarbij de eindproducten samen een groter geheel vormen. Een greep uit de thema’s: Façade Fantasie, Hotel Hergebruik, Buurtklimaatje, Woning voor de Koning, Huis in het Heelal, Moderne Mobiliteit.
