AAASWFL is the state’s designated Aging and Disability Resource Center for Southwest Florida. Our region covers Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee, and Sarasota Counties. Our toll-free helpline can assists seniors, adults with disabilities, and caregivers find needed services in our community. Our SHINE program assists Medicare recipients with their benefits, including open enrollment assistance, Medicare savings programs, and filing claims and appeals. We provide health and wellness workshops for older adults and their caregivers. Our elder abuse prevention and education program can help you better understand how to identify, report, and prevent abuse, fraud and exploitation.
