RES Power Solutions is a cleantech start-up advancing SDG 7 by delivering affordable, reliable, and sustainable solar + battery energy systems across Africa. We design modular, intelligent storage-backed systems for homes, businesses, health centers, and remote communities — replacing diesel generators and unstable grids with clean, uninterrupted power. Our offerings include custom system design, turnkey installation, remote monitoring, and flexible financing models such as pay-as-you-save and power purchase agreements (PPAs). We prioritize lithium battery technologies (LFP) for durability and safety, and offer hybrid and off-grid solutions tailored to each client’s energy needs and location. We currently operate in Kenya, Rwanda and Senegal, with plans to scale across West and East Africa, targeting markets where energy poverty, high tariffs, and diesel reliance persist. Our solutions power cold chains, education, tourism, and health sectors — unlocking productivity and reducing emissions. ARES Power directly contributes to SDGs 7, 13, 8, and 9 by expanding energy access, avoiding CO₂ emissions, creating green jobs, and building resilient energy infrastructure. Our systems have reduced energy costs by up to 80% and improved power reliability in fragile settings. Led by Joyce Ollunga, we combine local insight with global standards. We seek partnerships with accelerators, DFIs, and investors to scale impact and build Africa’s clean energy future.
