Arête builds sets, props, furniture, backdrops, and pretty much anything you can imagine. We’ve helped build the giant obstacle courses of ABC’s Wipeout, the crazy stunts of NBC’s Fear Factor, and the iconic targets of Fox’s Bullseye. We are professional set builders and we’ve created works for scripted shows, reality shows, web series, commercials, music videos, big budget features and independent films. We build for red carpets, still shoots, activations, conventions, restaurants, and trade shows. We work with budgets large and small and projects grand and miniature. We’ve worked locally, nationally and globally – shipping and installing sets throughout the US and beyond. Everything at Arête is created in-house by our team of talented art directors, draftsmen, carpenters, scenic painters, sewers, metalworkers, sculptors, and graphic artists. Unlike other set shops we can provide operational labor for an entire show including on-set dressers, set decorators, property people, dressers, shoppers, even FX techs and pyrotechnicians. Our team is deadline driven, professional and we always design with safety in mind. At Arête we maintain state of the art technology to provide the best product and service for our customers. We design in Vectorworks and SketchUp (among others) plus use the full adobe suite for all in-house graphics and signage. We have an expansive knowledge of materials - plastics, acrylics, fabrics, wood, foam, and metals. We are environmentally friendly and strive to use sustainable resources wherever possible.
