About Arges

Arges creates augmented reality software solutions for enterprise. Our initial product offering is a 3D visualization solution for air traffic controllers. We are a member of the 14th generation of the Start-Up Chile program. Air traffic control is a complex job, requiring air traffic controllers (ATCs) to mentally integrate the information from their 2D radar displays into what they see through the tower window to form a clear picture of the tarmac situation. Failure to do this effectively can have costly, and sometimes catastrophic, consequences. An overabundance of displays to attend to and low-visibility conditions are often culprits of lowering ATCs situational awareness. Our product solves both of these issues by displaying virtual versions of the planes into the eyes of ATCs using augmented reality glasses. Information about the planes is overlaid over their virtual counterparts, making the correspondence of radar information to actual planes obvious without the need of mental integration.
