About Arigato Travel

Arigato Travel started as a 1-woman show in 2016. Anne Kyle, the Founder, performed the first 300 tours herself. Out of her passion blossomed a team of over over 100 people completely aligned with a mission to provide a fun, memorable, and delicious understanding of Japanese history, etiquette, manners, culture and of course, FOOD! Arigato Travel has been featured at the New York Times Travel Show, on the U.S. News & World Report, Travel Weekly, by British Airways, the popular TV show Travels with Darley, on CNN Travel as one of the top 7 most authentic experience companies in Japan . We were also mentioned in BBC Travel Show and Forbes magazine as one of The World’s Best Virtual Tours. Our tours were also highlighted on the BBC World Travel Show in April 2021. We are passionate about promoting sustainable tourism and adventure travel through gastronomy. One of our visions is to help promote responsible tourism and help support local businesses. As we grew into our new brand ARIGATO TRAVEL: We have expanded beyond our culinary tourism roots (though this is still in our core DNA) and we now offer guests and partners from around the world, deeply curated experiences and connections across Japan.
