About Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
ASAOM offers a variety of educational programs. The Masters programs of the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ASAOM), are institutionally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (ACAHM), the nationally recognized accrediting agency for the approval of programs preparing acupuncture and Chinese medicine practitioners. "With the changing face of the American healthcare system, ASAOM is in a stage of growth. In recent years ASAOM has enhanced the school’s curriculum, faculty, administration, and networks. We are hands-on. Students set the foundation of their education in Chinese medicine as it is taught in China and traverse our nationally recognized bodywork program as it weaves into the study of their acupuncture and herbs. They graduate as uniquely qualified bodywork professionals - in addition to having a full program understanding of acupuncture and herbs duly qualifying them to sit for national licensure boards. The bodywork aspect of Chinese medicine is essential to the medicine in China, and our powerful incorporation of it sets us apart. ASAOM's transformative shift over the last few years is guiding the college to its next level, offering a deeply integrated, dynamic, and rich educational experience. I invite you to contact ASAOM and see how we approach education in Chinese medicine, why we are excited about the industry, and why the industry is excited about us." Joshua Hannum, MSMIS, President - ASAOM
