By law, before any construction work is done on a home built prior to 1982 it must be tested for asbestos. Asbestos was used in many building materials, including but not limited to acoustic ceilings (popcorn), drywall, texture, tape, VCT and vinyl flooring, shingles, tar paper, insulation, water heater flumes, back mastic, and much more. ATH Restoration also has certified building inspectors that can handle any testing needs for asbestos, lead or mold.
