Nestled in California’s lush Delta region—just an hour from the San Francisco Bay Area—Arka Farms is a 20-acre organic farm founded by a passionate group of friends who believe that farming is both an act of care and a commitment to community. Though we are a new farm, our roots run deep in purpose, resilience, and integrity. We currently grow more than 20 varieties of certified organic vegetables, each carefully nurtured with practices that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and sustainability. From heirloom tomatoes to vibrant peppers and eggplants, our produce reflects our values: food that is clean, nutritious, and grown in harmony with nature. Arka Farms partners directly with grocery stores, school districts, corporate kitchens, hospitals, universities, food banks, restaurants, bakeries, caterers, and non-profit food access organizations to bring farm-fresh goodness to the tables of thousands. Our farm is located within a naturally rich and wild ecosystem, which allows us to grow with minimal inputs while promoting biodiversity. We rely on regenerative methods like cover cropping, composting, crop rotation, beneficial planting, and reduced tillage to build living soil and cultivate nutrient-dense, flavorful crops. We are currently undergoing certification with CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers) and are on track to be fully certified organic and regenerative. For us, farming isn't just about growing vegetables—it's about growing trust, health, and a future we can be proud of.
