The Armed Forces Officers Club & Hotel (AFOCH) founded in 1997 has evolved into an oasis for luxury accommodation, business meetings, social gatherings, recreational activities and catering welcoming both local community and international customers and delivering exhilarating experiences. Situated on the coast, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, AFOCH is approximately 20 minutes from the heart of Abu Dhabi city, 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport and 5 minutes from Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The Armed Forces Officers Club & Hotel building is one of the largest buildings of its kind in the region. Viewed from the sea the club appears like a huge gold falcon perched on the shore with its wings outstretched, the approach inland is via a landscaped promenade. The hotel has 294 elegantly appointed rooms and suites including 8 multi-cuisine restaurants and lounges. The facilities also include a 50m Olympic-size swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, multifunctional gym, spa, tennis court, squash court, basketball court, football courts (indoor and outdoor), bowling alley and also an indoor shooting range. There is a dedicated sheltered swimming pool, splash pad and gaming area for the children. The club features a range of stylish à la carte restaurants including all-day dining at Al Bathna, a Pizza delight at C3 Café, dining and socialize at Taverna the Bar, café at Lobby lounge and an outdoor cafe called caracal. With a vision to further define the standard for exceptional service and experience for our guests and members, we are embarking on a renovation and rebranding journey to evolve and elevate our resort with a vision to create a best-in-class experience.
